Introducing Jeff Head, father, designer, manager, director, and consultant for over twenty-five years.  He is definitely a Patriots and tells it like it is.  He is very active in his Church and with the Boy Scouts of America.  I am proud to have met this man and I consider it an honor for him to allow me to add him to this web site.  While working as a director at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation, Mr. Head was involved in efforts at Thiokol Corporation's Strategic Operations Division to review & improve their operations in the years following the shuttle Challenger disaster.  As a result of that effort, in 1992 Mr. Head was presented a Vice President's award from Thiokel Strategic Operations for his team's effort in the Computer-Aided-Engineering (CAE) area.  CLICK IMAGE to visit his site(s).

I created the Life IS Worth Living web site because I believe people need to believe in something to help make their lives better and to have faith that things WILL get better, no matter the situation.  We all face negative things every day of our lives and you definitely will not find the kind of hope and inspiration you want and need by reading the newspapers or watching TV.  How many reporters do you know that are positive and act like they want YOUR life to improve?  The ironic thing is that if many of the reporters for both newspapers and the TV media would take a good look around and do their homework, they would find that they are missing the REAL STORIES in front of them.  They simply do not know how to look for what is right, what is fair, and what would help make this world a better place to live in.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Begun in 2000 under the auspices of the Intrepid Museum Foundation, and established as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, the Fund has provided more than $65 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. These efforts are funded entirely with donations from the public, and hundreds of thousands of individuals have contributed to the Fund. 100% of contributions raised by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund go towards these programs; all administrative expenses are underwritten by the Fund’s Trustees.

U.S. offers $900 million to Palestinians!  Hilary Clinton ran for President and she did not succeed at that.  Now, it seems, she does not know how to succeed in her new role.  Hilary Clinton just slapped the U.S. in the face, but so be it. What we need in America is people in our government who know what common sense and integrity is all about and a need for them to find those virtues!  To Israel’s enemies, tread carefully. God’s promises are eternal and two promises to Israel were as follows: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee… Genesis 12:3. Bless Israel and God Himself will bless you but curse Israel and God Himself will curse you. What a wonderful thing to be indebted to God by blessing His people but what a terrible thing to be cursed of God!

The Soldiers Field Veteran's Memorial was created to honor Veterans from Southeast Minnesota who died serving our country and dedicated to all who served our country to help keep us free. We remind future generations that we must not only protect ourselves from outside forces who would deny us our freedom, but we must understand that like the downfall of the Roman Empire, our freedom can also be lost from within if we allow our moral and ethical standards to decay. We can not tolerate bigotry or corruption in any form. Those who say they have no influence on our society have forgotten that we each control our own conduct, which then becomes part of our country's weakness or strength.

Primarily, the Christian Voice Magazine provides coverage of the latest news and major events within the Christian music industry. The Christian Voice also looks beyond the music and into the lives of artists and ministries as they deal with real-life issues that define and give testimony to their faith. Additionally, the publication features a variety of inspirational articles and editorials relative to the Christian family and lifestyle. The first issue was published in September 2006.  There are real blessings to be shared on this site, for example:  Getting in over our heads means that we are willing to move out of our comfort zone and trust God. Maybe in the area of finances it will involve giving more to the Lord’s work even though you are not sure how you will make ends meet. In relationships it may involve forgiving someone who has hurt you and running the risk of rejection. In ministry it may involve serving God in a new and different way – taking on a new class, a new responsibility, or even RELENQUISHING one you held for some time. (Jim's Gems - Rev.   Many years ago I was asked by a couple to help the wife to publish her true-life story. That life story is the remarkable journey through life of a woman who refused to give up.  She did not know the meaning of the word quit!

Edna L. Mitchell was born with Cerebral Palsy and did not have full use of her hands and arms. She spent many hours writing out the manuscript of her life story as best she could. She would then send me a few pages at a time and I would help her to edit them and set them up in a book format.

I have decided to publish this incredible story on the Internet with hopes it will encourage others to hang in there and fight.  As you read this story, bear in mind that Edna wrote it herself from actual experiences she faced.  It is a miracle she had the strength, courage and will power to survive as long as she did.  When you feel things are getting tough for you and your life is not going the way you would like, think of the woman in this story--Edna L. Mitchell.  The courage she had and the obstacles she faced should make all of us feel a little more humble...and grateful for what we have.   CLICK HERE 'TO SEE BEYOND'

While addressing a range of topics, this site is ultimately a point of connection where Veterans are helping Veterans.

The challenges faced can vary from person to person. Maybe you miss being deployed. Maybe home seems unfamiliar, and you feel distant from the people you love. Work can seem meaningless, the old rhythms gone. Frustration can mount to the point of making you edgy. As with anything, different people grapple with different issues. They can surface as soon as you return, or they might not appear until further down the road.

Many vets will tell you that making the switch to civilian life is far from easy. It can be a minefield of challenges seen and unseen. We have to adapt to a new mission: readjustment.

Heroism, in other words, is often defined today in terms of what a person has rather than who he or she is and what he or she can do to make the world a better place.  What these heroes have, of course, is money, fame, athletic talent, or physical beauty.  And because of this, they are often given tacit permission to break the rules and sidestep the moral code.

"But, Cpl. Michael Starker did much more ... he died while on a mission that he was not bound by duty to partake in, because Cpl. Michael Starker was a reservist. What that means is that he had to go out of his way to volunteer for service in Afghanistan. "Direct and help us, O Lord, in all our deeds, that in all our works begun, continued and ended in you, we may glorify your holy name, and finally, by your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and rules with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever, and ever. Suddenly Senior is one of the best sites I have ever seen for Seniors.  You can find out just about anything and you will usually find out the TRUTH!  The site, thank God for Mother Margaret is FANTASTIC.

One of the most refreshing sites I have ever had the honor to visit is one in which the very first sentence reads:  "I don't know about you... but I have had enough of this bull!  And like Mother Margaret, an older, honest, down-to-earth lady, I am fed up and I am sick and tired of one party or the other not only spreading their lies, but leading America, like sheep, to their own destruction.  And the media, they play a big part by refusing to stand up and be counted.  There are all-too-many media sources and politicians who would rather sell us down the river and aid the enemy than be embarrassed or admit they could be wrong.  The media is using YOU, America, and they will continue to do so as long as certain party officials are appeased and get their way, and empty your pocketbooks.  Go to the site of Mother Margaret's and read what an AMERICAN with guts says and who stands up to be counted.  Those who do not like what she says are afraid of the truth!  And one other thing:  for those of you who are letting some self-proclaimed MISTRESS OF WHATEVER teach you some other kind of religion, what part of this planet DID YOU POP UP ON!

Get to know MOTHER MARGARET and WAKE UP AMERICA!

A speech delivered by Beth Chapman during a "Stand Up for America Rally" hosted by the Shelby County Alabama Legislative Delegation, resulted in five standing ovations!  READ IT HERE

I am a veteran, I am an American, and I love America.  I am proud to have served this nation and proud to honor those who uphold and honor those who serve and have served this nation.  This Web Site has been created to THANK the many individuals, organizations, and others who have stood up and are standing up to be counted to show their respect and gratitude for those who serve this nation and put their lives on the line!  I know that there are many other civilians, veterans and military personnel who feel as I do and stand behind the idea and concept of this web site.  I humbly dedicate this web site to all those who have served this nation and especially those who have lost their lives (and their families) to defend freedom and liberty.  May God Bless all of them always and THANK YOU!  When I hear anyone tell me 'what's wrong with America, I ask them to read something I wrote called WHY I LOVE AMERICA!

Kids for Our Troops was started as a way to get kids of all ages involved in their effort to help severely disabled veterans coming back from fighting to defend American in the War on Terror.  Many kids have written letters and sent them cards to let them know what they have been doing to raise money and awareness to this veterans issue.  Their mission is to provide a safe, informative place for kids to go on the web to learn about the issues facing our disabled veterans and to offer ideas on how they can get involved in the effort to help these American heroes once they have returned home and are in desperate need of handicapped accessible home.  Kids for Our Troops is a Division of Homes for Our Troops.

Operation Gratitude is the California-based 501 (c) (3) non-profit, Volunteer organization that sends care packages of snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions such as Iraq and Afghanistan, and on military ships at sea.  Its mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member's face and to express to all troops the appreciation and support of the American people. Operation Gratitude receives the names of thousands of troops from commanders in the field who see the positive impact of care packages on their troops' morale. The organization sends 100,000+ care packages every year during two major campaigns: A Patriotic Drive in May and a Holiday Drive in the winter.  For safety and security, all assembling of packages occurs at the Army National Guard armory in Van Nuys, California. Since its inception in March, 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped more than 375,000 packages to American troops deployed overseas.
In support of Operation Gratitude, we have created a Special Site to help them in their efforts.

The Kitchen Table Gang is a bunch of "rag-tag" military types trying to make life a little more pleasant for our hospitalized veterans and to lessen the bleakness that permeates many VA Hospitals, and for our soldiers and Marines overseas.  They are attempting to let these veterans, soldiers, and Marines know that they are not forgotten and that we really care for them!  Their goal is to help as many as they possibly can-- from as many different wars and eras as they can--and to reach that goal requires YOUR help and prayers!  Like they say, they don't want your money, they only want you to honor our soldiers and veterans!

The National Guard, the oldest component of the Armed Forces of the United States and one of the nation's longest-enduring institutions, celebrated its 370th birthday on December 13, 2006. The National Guard traces its history back to the earliest English colonies in North America. Responsible for their own defense, the colonists drew on English military tradition and organized their able-bodied male citizens into militias.
